About us

1992-2024
Originally established as a tourist farm & coffee shop in April 1992, The Red Stag has grown and expanded into a restaurant, function centre, gift shop & farm stay accommodation. We offer visitors a fantastic dining experience which is situated on a 70-acre farm with stunning alpine views in all directions including the beautiful Mount Buffalo National Park.
Our unique property offers great opportunities to feed, touch, and learn about deer, emus, and ostriches. Our restaurant is open every day with our la carte menu featuring venison, kangaroo & emu meat for our customers to try if you are “game”. You can also have a sip of our Red Stag Label (Shiraz 2016, Savagnin 2016) while taking in the majestic views of snow-capped Mt Feathertop.
The restaurant is a favourite stop for tours and bus groups who love the legendary Devonshire teas which features our huge scones. The Red Stag is conveniently located just three hours’ drive North East of Melbourne and one hour from Albury-Wodonga.
